Description

RMIT and 16 YARDS  present the  THE BLUEPRINT DOCUMENTARY & PANEL DISCUSSION  as part of  SOCIAL SCIENCES WEEK

THIS TICKETED EVENT IS FREE

When: 2:30–5:00 pm Wednesday 16 September 2026

Where: Kaleide Theatre, Building 8, RMIT, 360 Swanston Street, Melbourne.

Light refreshments provided.

The documentary considers the complex web of factors leading to youth offending and crime such as family and peer dynamics, community marginalisation, identity, mental health, and social media.  By hearing directly from young people, the documentary explores how these factors impact their behaviour, sense of belonging, and relationship with services as well as the supports they relied on to break the cycle of offending.
